Apple Cider Mignonette


  • 2 T apple cider

  • 1 T shallot, finely chopped

  • 1 T granny smith apple, finely chopped

  • 1 T apple cider vinegar

  • fresh ground pepper to taste


In a small pan, over low heat, combine the cider and shallots and apple and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temp. Stir in the vinegar and season with pepper.
